Papua Student Alliance (AMP) addressing the serious events that resulted in Puncak Jaya eight soldiers were killed on Thursday (22/2), as reported by the media before. AMP said the incident was the duty of the TNI in Puncak Jaya in order not melampiasan anger aimed at civilians. Especially people who live around the scene.
"This event should not be a momentum to make its military forces in the district of Puncak Jaya. We condemn military reprisals against civilians in Puncak Jaya, "said Rinto Kogoya, chairman of the Papuan Student Alliance, Friday (22/2) in Jayapura.
For convenience in Puncak Jaya regency and the Papuans, Papua Student Alliance stated refusal to perform additional troops in Puncak Jaya. Urging the central government withdraw forces joint military / police of Puncak Jaya regency, and all the land of Papua.
